Hypnotherapy is evidence based and allows us to become receptive to positive ideas at a subconscious level and to change beliefs and behaviours. It also allows us to strengthen, reinforce and enhance our mindset using our own individual motivation.
No, you will feel more like you are in a daydream state and very relaxed. You can hear what is being said at all times and sometimes the conscious mind will drift in and out and think of random things and then it will settle down. Then the subconscious mind becomes wide awake and is then receptive to new beliefs and ideas.
Yes. You are in control the whole time.
At times, there can be a little bit of interaction between client and hypnotherapist depending on what is being worked on.
No. If you are unable to visit in person I offer online sessions which are just as powerful and successful as doing it face to face.
No, you are in a state half-way between sleep and wake.
Yes. You will feel deeply relaxed but will never lose contact with the Hypnotherapist’s voice.
No. Clinical hypnosis is not the same as stage hypnosis, you are free to accept or reject any suggestions made.
Most people can, providing they are able to understand the things they have to do in order to achieve this state.
The number of sessions needed can vary from person to person. For some people, a single session is enough, while others may need a few follow up sessions.
